Are the cruel, unusual, and deceptive specialists in high gear? Will they conquer our heretofore wonderful society? Dear reader, only if we allow them to do it. Just jot down these two years: 1928 and 2007. These two years precipitated economic chaos in our country of terrible proportions. We are now on track to replicate the past, only this time it will be eminently worse, unless we take action. Plato said, “democracies pass into despotism”. Donald Trump, Elon Musk, JD Vance, Russell Vought, Kevin Roberts, Speaker of the House Michael Johnson, Sen. Tom Cotton and the Republican MAGA group in the Senate and the House, and sadly, Reverend Franklin Graham are all using vehicles of communication like hate radio and hate television, Facebook, X, and AI to bring about a destruction of our government using lies, innuendo, exaggeration and conspiracy theories. Will it work? Who can stop them? Well, believe it or not let's start with the red states. The closing down of USAID will cost farmers who have supported Donald Trump, billions and billions and billions of dollars in crop sales. Our agricultural states provide for hungry people in five or six different countries in Africa and many other places in the world. We also provide them with medicine. This has been going on since 1961 and it is total BS that USAID is "full" of criminality of any kind. Dear reader, it’s all made-up to persuade you to get rid of things that have ultimately helped our country by working to win the "hearts and minds" of our international neighbors.
The red states will lose more than the blue states as education assistance is now being quashed.
The red states will lose more than the blue states as FEMA is suspended.
The red states will lose the benefits being cut off under Veteran’s Affairs.
The Internal Revenue Service will lose its punch to all of us because these MAGA boys do not want their billionaire friends to have to share in the tax burden of the United States of America.
The red states will lose as Donald Trump threatens to cancel former President Joe Biden's extensive Infrastructure Legislation that carries over more than a year.
The red states will suffer the most by abandoning climate change proposals already on the books.
Dear reader, I say with no joy, this is only a brief list of the destruction these folks have in mind. You have heard the expression: “spending money like drunken sailors”? Well, here is what these shallow minded folks from Project 2025 are planning. They want to destroy well established Federal programs. Why? Because they were created by “wokes”, you know the “wokes”, who make the government work better but want to regulate and tax our billionaire friends. Now this MAGA group is intent upon finding 3 to 4.5 trillion dollars from the plucked chickens so that they can renew the 2017 billionaire tax cut that will be running out shortly. This is borderline criminal, and we all must grab the truth and stop the shakedown. Trump/Musk are desperate to pay off the billionaire class before the voters wake up to this scam.
How to stop it? Just remember, the House and Senate MAGA Republicans are truly zombies who have in effect, given up their oath and pledge to uphold the U.S. Constitution out of fear of Donald Trump. They have abandoned their Constitutional authority of oversight for self-preservation. Dear reader, Trump/Musk are controlling MAGA Senators and Congressmen who have all decided to shift the weight of wealth, even more in favor of the top 2% of Americans. Just remember, if 95% of the public is supposed to pay for this scam and theft of revenue, why don't we decide to all unite and stop the steal? It's our country, it's our flag, it's our rule of law given to us by the Founding Fathers in 1787. Dear reader, dear voter, we do not have to surrender to cruel and unusual politicians who could care less about the middle class and the less fortunate. Remember, transferring from a democracy to a dictatorship using willy-nilly ideas will cost our society too much money. These folks do not have one worry of whether their family legacy is hurt by having destroyed a great nation. They do not care about history's judgment, and they abandoned any fear of a just and loving God. Please again, read in Luke, the story of the Rich man and Lazarus. Please read the Sheep and the Goats in Matthew. And then we must ask Reverend Franklin Graham if these two parables are no longer relevant in the New Testament! These MAGA folks want you to believe that the disenfranchised, the immigrants, and the poor are really the enemy. Are they? In heaven's name, no they are not! We have a duty to help those who cannot help themselves and that's what our Founding Fathers wanted us to do. They did not want us to inflate the already fat wallets of billionaires. Let the billionaires pay their fair share and thank the good Lord for the American business environment that helped them make so much money. Right now, they're being thankless, greedy and sadly led by two eighth grade bullies who want to be feared, not loved. Are Trump/Musk un-American and anti-American in their attempt to now be authoritarians? You betcha! These two follow authoritarians politically, not our Founding Fathers. And remember they both consider civility a sign of weakness. They are humorless, cynical, self-serving and arrogant. They want us all to bend toward their will. Meanwhile they consider their followers to be “dupes, stooges, and willing idiots” who can be easily manipulated. My answer is “think again boys, you are talking about a great nation with a great past and we will not accept another King George III.” Please note carefully dear reader, King George III was arrogant and mean spirited and had no permanent alliances in his own British cabinet. He controlled the greatest military force in the world, in 1775, yet George Washington and his rag-tag colonial army beat him! That poor English King literally went insane after that! (fact check my story!)
I wrote a book 13 years ago: End Times Prose and Poetry, about climate change. In that book there are two poems that politicians who are not interested in truth are encouraged to read. Please read these two poems more than once.
And for emphasis, because of my respect for our military, I picked the poem by John McRae from World War I, which is also attached. I did it because the Defense Department is right now punishing our Generals and our Admirals, taking down portraits and generally making them feel unwelcome. President Donald Trump who is a draft dodger who used fake medical records to stay out of the Army. He thinks the military is made-up of “losers and suckers” and the real reason he's taking this action of being brittle with the military appears to be, because the Officer Corp, the NCO Corp and the Private Corp must take an oath to the U.S. Constitution and our flag only. They do not take an oath to a person. Adolf Hitler made his entire military answer to him only, not his country. Dear reader, we are not in Germany in 1933. Don't buy it! We must continue to honor our military and make sure their morale does not suffer. We are a country of laws, not of men. I have two older brothers buried in Arlington National Cemetery who were wounded in battle. Dear reader, dear voter, I am writing for them and every other veteran in that cemetery. Not one of them should be called a “loser” or a “sucker”! Dear reader, we must stand up for the military and our country!

Don't forget, 250 years ago Patrick Henry said over his disturbance of British rule, “give me liberty or give me death”. Remember, Nathan Hale on the scaffold, ready to die by hanging because of the British said, “I regret that I have but one life to give for my country”. My fellow readers and voters, surely, we can rise up and protect the rule of law our Founding Fathers fought so hard to give us in 1787. United we stand, divided we fall! We must all forget about Republican/Democrat point of view, because we are all now Americans. Remember Winston Churchill said in 1941 when his country was so viciously attacked by Adolf Hitler, “men of great vision and imagination never give up, for their eyes are ever on that day of victory”. Churchill liked Julia Ward Howe’s hymn, The Battle Hymn of the Republic, and he requested it be played at his funeral. Every American right now should be thinking of patriotic songs that we've accumulated over the years, and we should bless them with emphasis, or we will lose them.
Let us have a revolution of faith in God and country, and reject this uncalled for need to destroy our institutions!
It bears repeating, Trump/Musk have made promises over tax and money issues to their billionaire class friends. And to keep those promises requires a meltdown of our institutions and our laws. Who is assigned to the sacrificial altar for this crazy stuff? The citizens of the red states and the citizens of the blue states, who will be the “losers” and the “suckers” expected to fulfil the Trump/Musk promises! Is this the work of lawless racketeers? The reader and the voter must decide. Can these destructive, nation ending plans be stopped?
If we can muster patriotism for the rule of law. If we can embrace the honor and dignity of those 55 men in Philadelphia in 1787, we just might keep their hopes for us alive for many more years.
Is this my last dying declaration? Hopefully no, I am not in the best of health, and I will be 88 years old in March. However, while I am still breathing, I plan to keep on fighting!
May God assist us in keeping our children and grandchildren safe from mayhem and chaos.
