Please dear reader, contrast the Harris-Walz campaign over the Trump-Vance campaign. Harris-Walz preaches love over hate, patriotism over distain, and truth over lies. Please, all Americans must vote for freedom and truth!
The title says it all, not only did the Republican Party die, but there are not even any skeletons of Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, or Ronald Reagan remaining. Now it's a personality cult without a platform. They stand for disinformation, hostility, disrespect and dishing your opponents using Fox News, and even negativity on the floor of the House of Representatives. They are all keyed on the principle that civility is a form of weakness. And Newt Gingrich made it clear that retribution and revenge toward the opposition in 2021 as the Republicans had control of the House, was forthcoming. He predicted lots of upheaval through their leader ex-President Donald Trump. Why all the need to be angry and full of groundless hostility? It is because of the American rule of law, that's why. Their leader is not a Boy Scout; therefore, things happen like impeachments, the law taking hold on his personal activities with Trump University, his Family Foundation and his activities of committing fraud, and he was found guilty on 34 felony counts, etcetera etcetera. He distracts the public by relentlessly harping against his opponents, he lies so much that it's necessary to daily fact check him. The only political platform he can come up with is his constant words over putting Tariffs in force. He suggests these Tariffs will solve many of America's trading problems and may reduce the Federal Debt. Dear reader, when I was in college, noted historical economists said Tariffs are a simpleton idea, that is made-up of paper straw and eventually lead to disaster for all concerned.
Ex-President Donald Trump reflects the same views that George III of England had as he made pronouncements to the Parliament, and how he treated his Ministers with disrespect. Ben Franklin in 1775 constantly complained about the way King George III was treating the colonies over taxes. The colonies would not roll over and be part of the banking system of George III. It finally reached the point where the colonists were renouncing the king through the Declaration of Independence. The comparisons between George III and Donald Trump are in personalities and the way they treat their fellow man. George III finally gave in to insanity, causing the British government to continuously shift more to the Parliamentary system giving less power to the Monarch. In the United States we are not used to a one-man rule, and we have always rejected, up until now, the cult of personality. It is altogether a disturbing development, and the public must take issue with these unusual political developments we are witnessing. Especially over things like Donald Trump thinking he has the power if elected, to punish his detractors by Executive Fiat. Huh? This country has always had a peaceful transference of power for 240 years and we don't threaten, we don't put people in jail for saying negative things about us politically. He harbors a peculiar thought process that says all of his legal troubles are not caused by something he did wrong, but he is being victimized by his opponents. It’s eight grade bully, school yard reasoning. He issues threats against different political and insider associates that have turned on him, and he has made it clear that he will seek revenge. Every American citizen must help protect and defend those folks that have been put in fear of Donald Trump’s promise of revenge and retribution. After all, we are not talking about a Boy Scout, Mr. Trump is a convicted felon. We all must protect each other under our flag and our rule of law while venerating liberty and freedom for all. We actually have innocent opponents asserting they will leave the country if Trump is elected President of the United States. Is it because they think the revenge motive is strong enough that they have to flee? Dear reader, that’s not the American way!
The French have a wonderful expression: “qui ne dit mot, consent”, silence is consent. We must not be quiet about fellow Americans fleeing their own country because a political opponent is out to get them. We are all trying simply to get at the truth. There is no way we should be punished for that. Let’s have every American who loves his country and the rule of law, stand by every other American that believes in those laws and feels threatened. We don't do vengeful things after elections! Never forget, Adolf Hitler took office in 1933, and immediately began building concentration camps to put away his political opponents. We're not going to let that happen in the United States of America! Who would believe that after 250 years going back to colonial times, the words spoken by Patrick Henry saying “give me liberty or give me death” just may be relevant in American society today.
In America if you violate the rule of law and attempt to stack the legal system with dozens of lawyers, it may not always work out. No matter how much you pay lawyers and how much you protest, you cannot always win. And to continually say you are a victim is a groundless, ultimately worthless argument. In the United States if you are accused of violating the Constitution and facts and evidence are against you, you indeed are allowed to spend $100 million in defense fees to overcome the charges. If that becomes the new way of handling legal business in America, it demonstrates why wealth too often controls the outcome over criminal matters. It also clearly shows the defendants with modest means, are in an inferior legal position in our country.
We must not give in to Plato’s prediction over 2500 years ago, that democracies pass into despotism. We can overcome that from happening by love of country and devotion to our rule of law. But the time is short, and our efforts must reflect those of American Greg LeMond in Paris in the Tour de France bicycle race when on the last Sunday of the race he was a full 10 minutes behind the leader and everyone predicted he would lose. What did he say after he actually won? He said, “I just put my head down and peddled without looking up”. And now in my town, what did the Detroit Tigers just do when they were counted out on August 11th from the playoffs? The same thing, they said “we just played hard, never looked up” and said “we must believe”. They set an American league record for comeback victories to get into the playoffs. From August 11th until September 28th, they lead all of baseball in games won. That kind of vigor, that kind of energy must now be displayed by Harris-Walz. They need all hands-on deck for these last four weeks. The sad part about American Presidential elections is that we have as many as 50 million eligible citizens who have not registered to vote. I believe that the way to get them to the polls is by appealing to their patriotism, love of country and devotion to the flag. All of our past American patriotic songs must be played all through October. I’ve said it before, and it bears repeating. Winston Churchill was so impressed with the Battle Hymn of the Republic that he asked for it to be played at his funeral. The Trump-Vance campaign says many many negative things about their own country. And they say good things about the dictators of the world. No thank you, our hearts belong with the rule of law, for our flag, for George Washington and the Founding Fathers. We are an ever-improving country that the free world looks up to for protection and example.
Please dear reader, contrast the Harris-Walz campaign over the Trump-Vance campaign. Harris-Walz preaches love over hate, patriotism over distain, and truth over lies. Please, all Americans must vote for freedom and truth!
Lets do our duty and continue our great ride on the freedom and liberty train.
We must finally do everything we can to keep our children and grandchildren free from an unstable environment, that would result from a Trump-Vance victory. Our very best prayers should be for a continuation of the U.S. Constitution and the rule of law.
