We must stop the drain on our freedom by so many malcontents who have lost faith in the American way. We remain the envy of the entire free world, yet now so many goofy and downright disgusting Americans seem ready to jump off the ship of freedom and liberty, thinking it will advance their newfound agenda. If we don’t persuade and convert many of these MAGA Republicans by Nov 5th, the great American experiment that has lasted 248 years will simply crumble out of ignorance and indifference. But reality, truth, and hard work can still save the day!
I watched ex-President Donald Trump give a press conference on August 8 at Mara Lago. There was no identification of the press that were asking questions and there were no microphones so the TV audience couldn’t hear the questions being asked.
My impression? My impression is Donald Trump, in the final analysis, really hates America. The Washington Post fact checked and counted over 30,000 lies while he was President of the United States. Has he changed his behavior or his veracity since the last time he was President? Absolutely not, he's worse than ever. In fact, he's more aggressive, more arrogant, and more confident than ever before. He still defends the "big lie" of Jan 6th 2021, with zero proof, facts or any evidence to substantiate his position. His position is absurd and peculiar, but he is banking on his deception to prevail.
The press at the conference threw nothing but softball questions the entire 90 minutes. And they never once questioned any of the lies. He bragged that he has had more attendance at his speeches than anyone else. He even said that he had a larger crowd than the 250,000 that attended Martin Luther King Junior’s “I have a dream” speech in Washington DC. He ranted, and ranted about several other attendance lies. He again referenced the January 6th insurrection as a “stolen election”. Meanwhile the press has just given up asking these questions about the “big lie”. Why have they quit making inquiries of why he says it's a stolen election when he offers no proof, and we all know there is no proof. Why not continue to challenge the often repeated lies that we all know are lies? Why must we tolerate baloney, leaving it un-challenged?
What's the deal here? The deal is Donald Trump got famous over ten years ago by starting a rumor that Barack Obama was not born in America. Did he give any evidence? Did he prove it with facts? No, it was all BS. Did he care that it was all BS? No, he laughed to himself I'm sure, because 40% of his followers believed him over that falsehood. Is this a disgrace? It absolutely is. The other disgrace is Donald Trump uses innuendo, exaggeration, misinformation, conspiracy theories, and lucky for him, Fox “News” gladly repeats them all to their followers, just to sell soap and pillows.
Mr. Trump has no sense of humor. Wouldn't you think after all these lies and innuendos, he could give us a little laugh along with them? Like maybe a little whipped cream on his horse buns? He has no love for America or our Founding Fathers. His heroes and CPAC’s heroes are Vladimir Putin of Russia and Viktor Orban of Hungary. What is his goal in politics having these kinds of heroes, instead of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson or Ronald Reagan? All facts lead to this; Trump wants more power; more money and he envies his mentors in Russia and Hungary hoping to replicate their success. The other thing is, he wants dearly to seek retribution against all his political opponents. Including judges, juries, the FBI etc. etc. Who loses with all this goofy political stuff Donald Trump is doing? It's our Constitution. It's our rule of law. And that's not the worst of it. He wants to be the beneficiary of the current attack on our own government by the Heritage Foundation, who wants to reorganize our government into a different construct using Project 2025. What's the price it will cost to organize their schemes? Well, they plan on canning 50,000 federal workers and replacing them with Trump loyalists. Yes, and please also note, six members of the U.S. Supreme Court are helping Trump with immunity laws passed to give him more power. There are three minority members of SCOTUS who are on the verge of going public over this legal scandal that their six fellow justices have foisted on our legal system. At least it seems that way to me.
What about the 1000 billionaires in the United States? Are they for the U.S. Constitution? Do any of them give credit for their success making billions in the United States' healthy business environment? Is it easy and often inviting to be a businessman in the United States? You betcha. And do the billionaires pay back their country and their citizens’ labor? No, many times they just complain. They complain about taxes. They complain about regulations. How do they get around this? By giving millions to the dupes and stooges in politics. Is this true of all billionaires? No, not at all. But it seems too many pay out an awful lot to control their business destiny. Is this what Plato meant when he said democracies pass into despotism? Yes, dear reader. The swindle is happening, and it will continue unless more billionaires decide to defend the U.S. Constitution and the rule of law. And maybe they should show a little gratitude for their good fortune in such a wonderful business environment. The U.S. Government is NOT their enemy.

May God bless the United States of America and keep our children and grandchildren safe from the mayhem and chaos that could bury us if we abandon the rule of law and reason. The spirit of our Founding Fathers has never been more at risk. Let men and women of conscious stop this nonsense with vigorous resolve!
